Right up the road from the Courtyard by Marriott® Jackson is Jackson’s own Old Medina Winery serving up free daily wine tasting and an open mike night every Friday night.

Old Medina Winery encompasses 10 acres of land that has been producing wine for about twelve years. With offerings such as the classic Merlot, the winery also produces several hard to come by varieties such as Muscadine, Red Garnet, Ambrosia, and Niagara.

With a recent relocation and remodel to its permanent home in Jackson, Tennessee, Old Medina Winery boasts a 3000 square-foot building, half dedicated as a wine tasting room and the other half devoted to making and storing the wines. Picnic facilities are offered to share a good bottle of wine with family or friends. Purchase some cheese and bread or crackers, or any of our local Tennessee products and make it a nice way to relax the evening away.

With a grill available to anyone who chooses to use it and various local offerings for sale inside the winery, open mike night is a fun occasion that happens every Friday night! Bring your family and friends, taste some of our finest wines and stay for the entertainment or make some entertainment of your own! Come listen to local artists or bring a guitar and join in.
